Mrs. Camie Sleeman
West Kelloggsville Special Education Teacher K-3 |
Welcome
My name is Camie Sleeman. I have been working in Kelloggsville for 27 years. All of those years have been in special education working with students with learning disabilities, emotional impairments, and cognitive impairments. I have my Masters in Learning Disabilities from Grand Valley State University. Last year I received my EL endorsement from Aquinas College. I am also a CPI Certified Instructor -- Associate. I have been training staff in Kelloggsville in CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (NCI) for the past 6 years. I love working with the students here in the Kelloggsville district and am excited about students' learning and building relationships. |
About Me
I have been married to Tim for 26 years. We have 2 daughters, who are both married, and two sons. We also have seven grandchildren, 5 boys and 2 girls. Teresa and Todd are married and have 4 boys and live about 8 miles from us. Danielle and Julio have one son that just turned a year. They live in Arizona and have 2 foster girls. Caleb just got married this summer to Sam! Even though we had to make many changes, it was a beautiful wedding. Isaiah has been working for an asphalt company. He will do this during the summer months and then operate his own building company in the winter months. I enjoy backpacking, camping, kayaking, biking, reading, and serving at my local church on the prayer team. |
